Bettum’s Idlewood Family Campground has been a place where families come together, slow down, and enjoy the simple beauty of outdoor living since 2001. What began as a vision to create a welcoming camping space has grown into a trusted, long-standing destination in McKean County. Over the past 25 years, we’ve continuously improved and expanded the campground with a focus on comfort, safety, and family enjoyment.
From upgrading electric and water lines at camping sites to improving bathrooms, recreational spaces, and common areas, every update has been made with our campers in mind. We’ve also added new sites over the years to accommodate growing demand, while preserving the natural, wooded atmosphere that makes camping here so special.
At the heart of everything we do is a passion for outdoor living and a deep appreciation for family time. Many of our guests have been returning for decades, and that sense of community is what truly defines us. We maintain a place where friendships are formed, traditions are built, and memories are made under the stars.
